Brazen theft angers dance show judge

Dancing with the Stars judge Candy Lane has turned to social media to try to find the people responsible for breaking into her car in broad daylight.

Lane's car window was smashed and her new Versace handbag stolen from outside her Mt Eden dance studio about 1.30pm yesterday.

Her neighbour was alerted to the smash-and- grab by the sound of the window breaking and the car alarm, and managed to see the number plates of the getaway car - OG727.

Her Facebook post about the incident had last night generated 81 shares, and Lane hoped the coverage would help nab those responsible.

She appealed for people to look for her black bag with a gold Versace logo on it on online sale sites as it may lead to the offenders.
