Brad Pitt's $170K bid for date with Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke

Emilia Clarke has called Brad Pitt's $170,000 bid to date her, the 'best night of her life' during her Graham Norton appearance on Thursday.

The handsome actor, 54, bid for the honour to watch Game Of Thrones with Emilia, 31, during a silent auction at Sean Penn's annual gala for Haiti, held at Milk Studios in LA, in January.

But the Game Of Thrones star expressed her 'sadness' when she saw the Snatch hunk was out bid at the last minute after a mystery guest put $160,000 on the table, the Daily Mail reports.

She said: "There was an auction for a charity do that I was asked to take part in so I offered time with myself and as the bidding started I realised Brad Pitt was trying to buy me.

"I looked across the room and he had his paddle up! Sadly, he was outbid and it didn't work out."

Golden-haired Emilia plays the leading lady of the series and mother of dragons Daenerys Targaryen who has a fiery tongue and a courageous spirit.

The auction opened at $29,000 to an unknown attendee during the bash hosted at Sean Penn's JP HRO Gala in Los Angeles.

Snatch star Brad didn't hesitate when he offered $115,000 before he vowed to up the stakes to $130,000.

The auctioneer reportedly shouted "Is the King of the North here?" when Game of Thrones star Kit Harington returned from the toilet.

Famed for his role of Jon Snow, of course Kit also agreed to sit in on the private screening with Emilia and the lucky winner of the bid.

Unable to believe his luck, Brad put forward his last bid at $170,000 but the Hollywood actor lost out to a $230,000 bid.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Arnold Schwarzenegger were also present at the star-studded charity gala.
