Renovating a house can be stressful for any couple but doing it on national television is next level.
That's why The Block contestants Mitch Davies and Brooke Thompson decided to check into couple's therapy before the show even started filming.
Speaking to Woman's Day, the Cantabrian love birds reveal theywent to see a counsellor to make sure they could face any issues that might arise on the show and protect their relationship.
But the pair - who have been together for five years and were high-school sweethearts - discovered their bond was stronger than they realised.

"Our counsellor really struggled with us," Mitch, 26, told the woman's mag. "She was a bit like, 'What do you want from me?'
"She's used to marriage break-ups and people cheating on each other, and we were telling her our biggest problem in our relationship is how Brooke gets frustrated when I leave the drawers in our room open."
Her advice was simply to close them, according to Brooke.
"But that was the great thing about counselling - she tried to find little niggly things in our relationship and just couldn't. What we did get was some great ideas about how to communicate when you're really sleep-deprived and most likely to snap ... the tools we've learned will be just as valuable once The Block is up."
