Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds 'welcome second baby - and Taylor Swift is quick to visit'

Hollywood couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have reportedly welcomed their second baby into the world.

The 29-year-old actress gave birth at a Manhattan hospital, a source told Page Six, which reported that pop star Taylor Swift was one of the child's first visitors.

The actors' representatives have yet to comment on the birth and the gender of the baby is not yet known.

actor Reynolds, 39, had their first child, James, in December 2014, after which Lively indicated they wanted more children.

"I'm looking forward to how one baby influences the other, and to my family as a whole, to every single chapter," the Gossip Girl actress told People magazine at the time.

Lively has also joked about how she and Reynolds both come from big families.

"I'm one of five kids. My husband is one of four, so we're officially breeders," Lively joked on the Today show in June. "You can go on our website and we will give you some of our children."

News of the pregnancy first emerged when Lively was spotted with her baby bump in a wet suit while on the set of the survival thriller The Shallows in Malibu.

Since then, she has been showing off her belly at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival in May and at the premieres for her summer films, including The Shallows.

Swift and Lively are close friends and met up when they were in Australia last year. They were also seen together, along with Swift's then partner Tom Hiddleston, in a widely circulated picture at the singer's star-studded Fourth of July party at her Rhode Island home.
