American Hip Hop group, the Black Eyed Peas will be reuniting.
The Black Eyed Peas are getting back together and will.i.am says they "shouldn't have ever" disbanded.
Will.i.am confirmed that he and his bandmates, apl.de.ap, Taboo and Fergie will be reuniting to record new music together.
Speaking to Capital FM presenter Roman Kemp, will.i.am revealed: "Yeah... so... yes... There will bea Black Eyed Peas reunion.
"It just... it breaks my heart that I even have to say that because really we should just... we should just always have been doing Black Eyed Peas actually. We shouldn't have ever... "
The group first formed in 1995, with Fergie joining the band seven years later. Their 2003 album Elephunk thrust the band into the mainstream with songs like Where Is The Love? and Let's Get It Started.
Later their chart topper I Got A Feeling and songs from their following albums Monkey Business, The E.N.D and The Beginning, helped BEP become one of the leading chart acts of the decade.
In July last year, after nearly five years with no music, BEP tried to make a comeback with the song Yesterday. The song notiably excluded Fergie, the band's only female member.
There is yet to be any news on when eager fans can expect new music to be released by the reformed American hip hop group.
