Bjork backs Tibet during Shanghai concert

Icelandic pop singer Bjork has backed independence for Tibet during a concert in Shanghai. She shouted "Tibet, Tibet!" followed by "Raise your flag!" towards the end of her final song, Declare Independence.

Her protest apparently went unnoticed by most of an estimated 3000 people at the Shanghai International Gymnastics Centre.

But it is likely to anger China's communist government, which has previously expelled foreigners for making public protests in favour of Tibetan independence.
