Bill Bailey indulges his love for wildlife in a new series.
If you've ever seen a Bill Bailey stand-up show, you'll likely know he's also mad keen on nature, and in this new two-part special he gets to explore that love while also making a case for the brilliance of eccentric British explorer Alfred Wallace.
Bailey is on a mission to
have Wallace credited alongside Darwin for coming up with the theory of evolution - Wallace survived man-eating tigers, headhunting tribes, pirate attacks and sinking ships, and changed the way we see life on earth but has since been written out of history.
So Bailey is retracing his steps and heading to Indonesia, specifically Borneo and the Spice Islands, discovering fabulous wildlife from stunning birds of paradise, to frogs that fly and kangaroos that climb trees, in an effort to garner some recognition for Wallace.
