Victoria Beckham has insisted her family “always show up for each other” when it matters most, amid a family feud.
Brooklyn Beckham and his wife of three years, Nicola Peltz, have been estranged from the family for several months.
Most recently, the couple did not invite either of their parentsor siblings to celebrate their three-year wedding vow renewal last month in Westchester County, New York.
But the Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer, 51, has maintained that her family “all support each other” and their endeavours, despite the friction between her and her son.
She told Elle magazine: “That’s what the Beckhams do. We like to have fun. We like to spend time all together. We’re a very traditional family, much more than I think people would realise.”
Beckham added: “That’s what we do. We all support each other. We always show up for each other.”
Brooklyn appeared briefly in a childhood clip for the trailer for his mother’s new series, titled Victoria Beckham, while his brothers appeared more prominently.

The series – made by Nadia Hallgren, the award-winning director of Michelle Obama’s Becoming – features interviews with the former pop star and her family. It remains to be seen whether her eldest child will have any part in the documentary.
Beckham admitted that she was initially sceptical of making her own Netflix series and that it was her husband, David, who encouraged her to do it.
“I genuinely couldn’t understand why anybody was that interested. I love what I do, but I was a bit shocked,” she said.
“But throughout the process, I’ve really enjoyed it. I love the fact that I have an opportunity to shine a light on our industry – how serious an industry it is.
“I would read those stories, and I would see those pictures of me looking quite grumpy. But there’s very much a different person inside.
“I think that’s another reason why David was keen for me to do the documentary, to show that. I mean, I gave up worrying what people thought about me a long, long time ago.
“But I love using social media to have fun, and also to explain the ‘why’ in regard to my brand.”
The three-part documentary series follows the star’s reinvention from pop singer to fashion industry staple.
In the trailer, Tom Ford, a fellow industry mogul, reveals that “a lot of people didn’t take it seriously” when she initially tried to break into the field, and Beckham admits that “it has taken so long to get up to this point”.
