Beckham-Peltz feud extends through Christmas week with shady social media posts

Nicola Peltz has shared private photos from her family Christmas gathering as an apparent feud with her Beckham in-laws continues to play out on social media.

The 30-year-old actress posted the festive images to Instagram on Boxing Day, writing: “We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy new year filled with so much love, peace and happiness.”

The snaps showed Peltz and husband Brooklyn Beckham wearing matching red pyjamas and posing with her parents, billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz and former model Claudia Heffner.

Several of Peltz’s 3.1 million followers used the comments section to urge the couple to reconcile with the Beckhams.

“If your wife was truly supportive of you, she would never allow you to alienate your family,” one commenter wrote.

“Only one mum n dad Brooklyn they love you so much,” another added.

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton also weighed in, referencing Peltz’s caption and writing that she was wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, “EXCEPT your in-laws”.

The post came hours after Victoria Beckham shared footage of herself and husband David singing together on Christmas day to Barbra Streisand and Barry Gibb’s 1980 hit Guilty, which features the lyric: “We’ve got nothing to be sorry for.”

The couple were seen laughing, embracing and slow-dancing though one commenter thought the display was insensitive.

“This dig actually makes me think Brooklyn might just have a point,” they wrote.

Victoria later posted another video of David dancing with their youngest child, daughter Harper, captioned: “Truly the best daddy”.

The posts are the latest in a series of apparent social media barbs between the families.

Just days before Christmas, Brooklyn’s brother Cruz Beckham claimed that Brooklyn had blocked both him and their parents on Instagram.

Cruz shared a screenshot of a Daily Mail article suggesting that David and Victoria had unfollowed their eldest son.

“My mum and dad would never unfollow their son,” the Instagram story read.

“Let’s get the facts right, they woke up blocked ... as did I.”

The Daily Mail reported the family have not spoken in more than a year.

Romeo was also absent from recent celebrations for David’s knighthood and 50th birthday, with younger brother Cruz delivering speeches in his place, according to LadBible.

Heatword has claimed Brooklyn threatened to drop the Beckham surname unless his parents publicly apologised to Nicola, while the Standard reported the feud allegedly began at the couple’s 2022 wedding after Nicola declined to wear a gown designed by Victoria.
