Spooky English songstress Bat For Lashes, iconic Kiwi rockers Bailterspace and psychedelic funksters Yeasayer will headline next year's Laneway Festival.
The fourth instalment of the Auckland Anniversary Day music event - to be held at Silo Park in Wynyard Quarter on January 28, 2013 - will also feature Of MonstersAnd Men, Alt-J, Nicolas Jaar, Divine Fits, The Phoenix Foundation, Lawrence Arabia and Jessie Ware.
It will be the first time Natasha Khan, aka Bat For Lashes, has performed in New Zealand, and the What's A Girl To Do? singer will have a new album to showcase with The Haunted Man due out in October.
Christchurch noiseniks Bailterspace released their new album Strobosphere in August - their first new material since ending a hiatus that ran from 2004 to 2008.
Changes are afoot for next year's festival: It will be the biggest yet in Auckland, with a larger site running along the waterfront, with increased shade, grassed areas, tables, chairs and umbrellas. Bar sizes have been doubled and there will be more food on offer.
