Singer songwriters Anika Moa and Barnaby Weir are teaming up for a tour of the "nooks and crannies" of New Zealand playing some of the country's more unique and intimate venues.
The 14-date tour starts at Auckland's Hopetoun Alpha on September 15, followed by Ascension Wine Estate in Matakana on
September 16, and Harrington Hall in Pukekohe the day after.
While Moa, who released her fourth album Love In Motion last year, has always flown solo, Weir is better known as the frontman of the Black Seeds and Fly My Pretties. But this year he released his first solo album, Tarot Card Rock, with his retro folk rock songs making a fitting soundtrack to the pair's road trip jaunt.

Also, coming straight out of Detroit, the same city Eminem hails from, is another lyrical maestro by the name of Elzhi. The MC, whose real name Jason Powers also has some star quality to it, was formerly part of hip-hop group Slum Village and plays Wellington's San Francisco Bath House on September 7 and Fu Bar in Auckland September 8. Meanwhile, London punk, oi, rock 'n' roll band - call them what you like - The Business return to New Zealand for a four-date tour including November 5 at the Kings Arms.
And on the rumour mill, British psychedelic, prog pop rockers the Moody Blues are likely to be heading to New Zealand for two shows in November. Fronted by singer-guitarist and main songwriter Justin Hayward, who was last here for Jeff Wayne's War of the World's stage show at Vector in 2007, one of the band's biggest hits was Nights In White Satin, off 1967's Days of Future Passed, which ushered in the psychedelic era of the band.
And lastly, all the best tickets have gone for the Foo Fighters' stadium show in December with around 27,500 gold class tickets snapped up since going on sale on Monday.
There are still embankment tickets left to the 55,000-capacity concert at Western Springs on December 13 as part of the band's world tour for album Wasting Light.
Meanwhile, tickets to Roger Waters' record-breaking fourth The Wall show on February 18 at Vector Arena go on sale on Monday.
