The younger cast members from hit sitcom Modern Family have negotiated hefty pay rises for themselves - but they still fall well behind their older co-stars on the pay stakes.
Sarah Hyland, 26, Ariel Winter, 19, Nolan Gould and Rico Rodriguez - both 18 - were all underage when ModernFamily first aired in 2009.
Eight seasons later, Modern Family has turned them all into beloved sitcom stars, and the four have just signed on for two more seasons on the show - complete with pay rises to befit their adult status.

Deadline reports that the quartet will each earn more than $US100,000 an episode.
Bustle previously reported that in season eight, the four young actors were each earning around $US75,000 per episode - a marked increase from when they started on the show and each pocketed around $US15-25,000 per episode.
However, this still puts them far behind their older co-stars, including Eric Stonestreet, Sofia Vergara and Julie Bowen.
They secured pay increases of over 40%, from about $US350,000 an episode last season to around $US500,000 in Season 9.
Back when they started, the show's adult leads each earned around $US30,000 to $US60,000 per episode.
All, that is, except former Married With Children star Ed O'Neil - as the biggest 'name' on Modern Family, he signed on to the show earning around $US95,000 per episode.
His salary is now in line with his adult co-stars, however he's understood to have negotiated a share of the back-end profits from the show, meaning his financial windfall could actually be far greater.
Modern Family's current child cast members, including 10-year-old Aubrey Anderson-Emmons and five-year-old Jeremy Maguire, joined the show later and have more time to go on their current deals before their contracts can be renegotiated.
