She was linked to Universal Music promotions director Justin Warren earlier this month, now Lorde has been spotted getting close to Diplo.
The Kiwi singer and American DJ and producer were snapped holding hands and getting cosy on the way to a BRIT Awards afterparty.
It's the second time rumourshave surfaced about her love life this month after images of Lorde and Warren on a supposed beach "date" were released by Woman's Day.
The pair were seen frolicking in the water and sitting side by side on beach towels.
While an accompanying write up claimed the pair were on a "date", having enjoyed breakfast just around the corner from the $3 million villa Lorde has recently purchased.
Any romantic links were rubbished by the director, who called the claims "ridiculous"
But all whispers about Warren seem to have dissipated after the photos surfaced following her tribute to David Bowie at the awards on Wednesday night.
Her performance of Life on Mars received critical acclaim.
Twitter beef over DipLo's 2014 comment that: "someone should make a kickstarter to get taylor swift a booty (sic)" also seemed to be forgotten as the 37-year-old put his arm around her.
Both were dressed in black, and appeared to be smiling and joking as they walked.
The 19-year-old previously told FADER that Diplo, real name Thomas Wesley Pentz, was "like a brother".
Lorde was spotted celebrating post performance at Warner Music and Ciroc BRIT Awards Party as well as Universal Music BRIT Awards after-party where she danced with singers Ellie Goulding and James Bay and model Karlie Kloss.
In America to record her second album, she also attended the Grammys to support friend, Taylor Swift.
