She stood by him after he maimed her in a double-bounce disaster at the trampoline park but this week Danielle B admitted what the rest of us already knew - she and Art were trapped in the Friend Zone.
Art was less-willing to acknowledge this, giving Danielle a pre-ceremony rose after their one-on-one date. But after sleeping on it (we assume not literally), Danielle rejected Art and his rose, withdrawing from the competition.
We caught up with her as she exits the mansion.

Are you sad to have left The Bachelor NZ?
No, I would have been sad to leave if I hadn't had the opportunity to get to know Art better on a single date. As it happens the single date confirmed my suspicions about the lack of chemistry between us which is actually a good thing because now we know for sure that we're just not a love match.
Did you enter the show expecting to find 'the one'?
I think it would be more accurate to say that I entered the show hoping to find "the one" but expecting to have a bit of fun and a unique adventure.
Is Art Green as nice as he seems?
Art is charming and playful. He told me about this time that he organised a Valentines' Day treasure hunt for his girlfriend at the time. It sounded like he had put a lot of thought and effort into it and I thought that it said a lot about him.
How did all the girls get along when the cameras weren't around? Was there any cattiness?
I was really surprised at how everyone managed to get along considering that we were living, sharing meals and filming with people who we'd never met before and the only thing we had in common was that we were all dating the same guy! A few disagreements erupted but these were short lived.
Did anything happen on the show that you wish hadn't been cut for TV?
I sprained my ankle when Art double bounced me on a group date at 'Jump'. After he realized what had happened, Art picked me up and carried me over to a booth where he put a cold pack on my ankle and talked to me to take my mind off the injury. It would have been nice for the viewers to see how well he looked after me because it demonstrated how caring and compassionate he is.
Or did anything make it to air that you wish hadn't?
The cat walk date, but on the plus side, I have a new found respect for people who are full-time models.
What's the best piece of behind-the-scenes goss you can give us?
Chrystal was the only person who I shared a room with the entire time that I was on the show. She believes that women are naturally beautiful without make-up. She is gorgeous without any make-up.
Have you found love since your time on The Bachelor?
I have been dating since the show but it's definitely too early to say whether it's love.
