"I had talked to Mum the night before, the same way we did every night...but I had a feeling. I knew something was up and I kept asking her, 'are you ok?'"
Stone's second tragedy struck when her brother Carl was so deeply affected by their mother's death that he disappeared later that year.
Stone says she's spoken to him on the phone a handful of times and seen him once, but "he just looked lost, gone" and eventually Stone had to accept that may not want to be found.
"We were each other's world and now he's gone. It's like mourning a mother and a brother, only I know he is alive and I hope to God that one day he finds his way home."
