The hit sci-fi series The Expanse looks set to be revived just days after Syfy announced it was cancelling the show.
The show, which stars former Shortland Street actor Frankie Adams, is one of the most acclaimed sci-fi shows currently screening on television and has a 100 per cent reviewrating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Yet the network dropped the show after three successful seasons prompting massive backlash from fans who even launched a petition to save the show.
However now it seems Expanse fans have got their wish.

Nerdist applauded its "snare-tight plots, boiling tension and gorgeous interplanetary scenery".
We’re here & it’s incredible. Our fans, everyone banding together, you’re incredible. We’re emotional & we’re humbled & we’re thankful. No matter what happens, we are ALL part of something special. Thank you. 🙏✨ #TheExpanse#SaveTheExpansepic.twitter.com/MuGQdrLWYk

In 55 years I have never spoken up for a cancelled show. @ExpanseSYFY is finally that show. Everything about #TheExpanse is at a level hardly seen with excellent writing, acting and production. 100% in review are not wrong! Someone please #RenewTheExpanse
