"I'm in two minds about [the success of 'Take Me To Church'. I don't see it'd be worth to try to write the same song that you've written before. I never expected a commercial success, not to this scale, and it was sort of set out for it, I suppose. What I did was to trust my guts this first time around so I'll just try and do that again."
The 25-year-old musician went on to praise Adele's "unique vocal ability".
He added: "I've got huge amount of respect for Adele. It's someone who's very true to herself. She's got a unique vocal ability, and a unique phrasing ability, and delivers so much in her vocal performances. So, you never know."
