In April, native American actors left the film after taking offence to racially insensitive gags.
At the time Netflix released a statement downplaying controversy around Sandler, who teamed up with the streaming service for this project.
"The movie has 'ridiculous' in the title for a reason: because it is ridiculous," a spokesperson said.
"It is a broad satire of Western movies and the stereotypes they popularised, featuring a diverse cast that is not only part of, but in on the joke."
Indian Country Today Media Network reported that 'Beaver's Breath' and 'No Bra' were among the names given to female cast members.
"They just treated us as if we should just be on the side," offended actress Loren Anthony told ICTMN.
"When we did speak with the main director, he was trying to say the disrespect was not intentional and this was a comedy."
The Ridiculous 6 debuts on the global streaming service on December 11.
