Robert Carradine’s ashes will be scattered at sea.
The actor, known for roles in film and television such as Lizzie McGuire, died by suicide on February 23, aged 71. Documents obtained by TMZ show Carradine has been cremated, with plans for his ashes to be scattered in the water.
TheLos Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office previously confirmed Robert’s death was caused by a brain injury resulting from hanging.
Robert’s family later issued a statement describing his long struggle with bipolar disorder and urging greater awareness of mental health.
They said: “It is with profound sadness that we must share that our beloved father, grandfather, uncle and brother Robert Carradine has passed away.
“In a world that can feel so dark, Bobby was always a beacon of light to everyone around him.
“We are bereft at the loss of this beautiful soul and want to acknowledge Bobby’s valiant struggle against his nearly two-decade battle with bipolar disorder.
