Renee Zellweger had some work done, and social media went crazy. Most significantly, she had the shape of her eyes changed from almond to oval - making them appear wider.
Zellweger is by no means the first celebrity who had radical plastic surgery to completely alter their look. Here are six other celebrities who changed their face.
1. Jennifer Grey
If you grew up around the same time I did, you will know Jennifer Grey from Dirty Dancing. The film enjoyed amazing success and it was meant to be the start of big things for Jennifer. However, after two rhinoplasty procedures, she was hardly recognisable. "I went in the operating room a celebrity - and came out anonymous," she is said.
"It was the nose job from hell. I'll always be this once-famous actress nobody recognises because of a nose job."

The Cheers star's look has changed many times over the years, mainly because of her fluctuating weight. Although she insists she has never has any surgery, botox or fillers, many believe her arched browline and stiff forehead must have gone under the knife or needle.

3. Mickey Rourke
During the 1980s Mickey Rourke was considered a handsome leading man, starring in films such as Rumble Fish and Diner. Rourke underwent a number of botched reconstructive surgeries following years of boxing and boozing. Unlike many Hollywood stars, Rourke freely admits to having surgery.

4. Melanie Griffith
Melanie Griffith is another star who has never admitted to having any work done. However, her changing face over the years suggest she has had multiple face-lifts, fillers, lip and breast augmentation and liposuction.

5. Bruce Jenner
During the 1970s, Bruce Jenner was an American Olympic champion, these days he's known as Kris Jenner's ex, and rumoured to be going through an identity crisis. Jenner has been open about his plastic surgeries, including a procedure to shave off some of his adam's apple that he underwent earlier this year.
