5 Seconds of Summer's Michael Clifford has been having treatment for "mental health problems".
The 19-year-old guitarist revealed during the group's gig in Auburn Hills, Michigan, earlier this week that he had sought help from a therapist during a break in their Rock Out With Your Socks Out tour, thoughhe didn't give any details about his condition.
He told the audience: "I was fixing some problems with my mental health.
"I just saw a therapist real quick on the break we had. Anyways, I'm going to shut up now. We're gonna play another song if it's OK?"
After the concert finished, #WeLoveYouMichael began trending on social media, while Michael was also flooded with messages of support from the group's devoted fans.
Michael's confession came a month after he admitted he feared losing his sight when he was burned by pyrotechnics on stage at London's SSE Wembley Arena in June.
He said: "It was so scary. I walked into an open flame. It was huge and Callum [Hood] got burned as well. At first I couldn't open my eye. I thought I'd lost my sight."
The band returned to the stage the following evening after Michael had been treated for his injuries, which weren't as bad as first feared, but they have vowed never to have pyrotechnics on stage again.
