This makes steak tender and combines with thai flavours and the interest of black chilli beans and roasted capsicums for a totally delicious meal. Best served on hasmine rice.
Ingredients
| 600 g | Beef rump steaks (Main) |
| 1 can | Chilli beans, use black beans |
| 2 medium | Roasted capsicum |
| 1 cup | Jasmine rice |
sauce
| 1 medium | Lemon juice |
| 2 tsp | Fish sauce |
| 2 tsp | Dark soy sauce |
| 1 knob | Fresh ginger |
| 1 clove | Garlic clove |
Directions
- Cut steak into strips about 10 cm long, and marinade in sauce ingredients for at least one hour.
- Lift steak saving the marinade and fry in light oil at high heat. Pour off any excess sauce and reserve.
- To browned meat add capsicums and beans. Thicken reserved liquids with a little cornflour, add to meat. Warm all through about 5 minutes.
- Serve with bowl of jasmine rice.
