This is a cross between a margarita and an amaretto sour - a smoky mezcal works nicely here, but if you are not an agave fan (mezcal is an agave-based liqueur), this recipe can be done with rye whiskey instead.
Ingredients
| 1 handful | Ice |
| 1 pinch | Salt |
| 2 dashes | Angostura bitters |
| 30 ml | Fresh lime juice |
| 60 ml | Pink grapefruit juice |
| 30 ml | Amaretto |
| 30 ml | Mezcal, or rye whiskey |
Directions
- Chill a Nick and Nora glass or coupe. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add the salt, bitters, lime and grapefruit juices, amaretto andmezcal. Seal and shake vigorously for 15 seconds, then double-strain into the glass.
