Scary popcorn

Instead of lollies, we like to make this creepy popcorn. It is scary to look at but tastes great and serving it in these paper cones is fun.

Ingredients

1 tsp	Vanilla extract
¾ cup	Butter
1 cup	Brown sugar
¼ tsp	Salt
¼ tsp	Baking soda
1 Tbsp	Food colouring, black
1 bowl	Popcorn (Main)

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 160C. Line a large roasting tray with baking paper and evenly lay the popcorn in the tray.
2. Melt the butter in a saucepan.Add the brown sugar and cook until dissolved.
3. Remove from the heat and quickly stir in the vanilla, salt, baking soda and food colouring. Pour the mixture over the popcorn and make sure it's evenly coated.
4. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Allow to cool before serving.
