For the meat
| 500 g | Mince, lean (Main) |
| 500 g | Sausage meat (Main) |
| 1 cup | Breadcrumbs |
| 1 | Onion, chopped well |
| 1 | Egg |
| 2 | Garlic cloves, crushed or chopped |
| ½ cup | Milk |
| ½ cup | Water |
| 1 dessert spoon | Curry powder, a level one |
| ½ tsp | Mixed herbs |
For the sauce
| ½ cup | Water |
| ½ cup | Tomato sauce |
| ¼ cup | Worcestershire sauce |
| 1 tsp | Instant coffee |
| 2 Tbsp | Vinegar |
| 2 Tbsp | Lemon juice |
| ¼ cup | Brown sugar |
Directions
- For the meat mixture, combine all ingredients well with clean hands. Season with salt and pepper. Place in crockpot which has been sprayed with oil.
- Mix sauce ingredients well and pour over meat.
- Cook in crockpot on low all day, at least 8 hours or longer.
