Beef cheeks so tender they melt in your mouth.
Ingredients
| 3 whole | Beef cheeks (Main) |
| 2 cups | Red wine |
| 1 whole | Red onion, Diced |
| 1 sprinkle | Salt & freshly ground pepper, To taste |
| 1 whole | Carrot, Chopped |
| 2 Tbsp | Olive oil |
| 2 cloves | Garlic, Finely chopped |
| 1 cup | Mushroom, Thickly sliced |
| 1 tin | Tomato, Crushed |
| 2 cups | Beef stock |
| 2 whole | Apples, Chopped |
Directions
- In a fry pan on a low heat cook the garlic and onion in the olive oil until soft but not browned.
- Put the remaining ingredients in the slow cooker. Mix the ingredients until combined. Ensure that the beef cheeks are covered by the liquid ingredients.
- Cook for approximately 3 hours stirring every hour. It is ready when the beef cheeks are tender.
- Serve with creamy cheesy mashed potatoes.
