It really is quick and easy, & the biscuits are crisp and absolutely delicious! This is a recipe I cut from a newspaper maybe 30 years ago. sorry I have no idea now which paper.
Ingredients
| 100 g | Butter |
| ½ cup | Sugar |
| 1 Tbsp | Cocoa powder |
| 1 Tbsp | Water, Boiling |
| 1 cup | Desiccated coconut |
| 1 cup | Standard flour, Small cup |
| 1 tsp | Baking powder |
| ¼ cup | Chocolate chips, Optional (Main) |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 180* C.
- Put butter, sugar, cocoa and boiling water in bowl and mix well. (I make sure the water goes directly on the cocoa to melt it a little).
- Add coconut, flour and baking powder. Mix well again.
- Put in teaspoon lots on a baking tray, flatten a little with hand or fork, then bake 10-12 minutes.
