I formulated this myself when I read that mint sauce is good in coleslaw. A friend loves it as a spread on bread!
Ingredients
| ½ cup | Sugar |
| ½ cup | Cider vinegar |
| 1 tsp | Salt |
| 1 tsp | Mustard powder |
| 1 Tbsp | Garlic powder |
| 1 cup | Canola oil |
| 1 cup | Mint leaves, more if you love mint flavour |
| 1 ½ Tbsp | Poppy seeds |
Directions
- place all but the poppy seeds in a blender and blend till well mixed, scrape down the sides if necessary, add poppy seeds . Serve with your favourite coleslaw ingredients. I prefer a simple red and green cabbage and carrot mix. Dressing will keep in fridge up to a week
