Ben my husband have been growing Pars-lies on the verge of our property on Kiwi Esplanade Mangere Bridge in the last 3 years. They just overgrown and this the way to make use of them and sharing what we have produced from our home grown garden. Feels very special sharing them
Ingredients
250 g | Cream cheese, I used a Philadelphia variety (Main) |
70 g | Shaved parmesan, I used the Ornelle variety |
¼ cup | Flat leaf (Italian) parsley, chopped |
2 sprinkles | Fresh mint, chopped |
½ cup | Almonds, chopped |
¼ handful | Pine nuts |
20 Tbsp | Sweet chilli sauce |
1 tsp | Salt |
2 small | Garlic cloves |
½ | Limes |
½ handful | Baby land cress |
Directions
- Put Cream Cheese, Shaved Parmesan , mint, garlic, almonds, pine nuts,lime juice,mint, land cress, salt.
- Mix them well in the Food processor then transfer to sheet of baking paper. Make a log shape and just roll it on chopped parsley and chopped nuts. Spread chilli sauce on the middle of the Cheese Log. Serve with crackers
