Guacamole

A few years ago now we gave our avocado tree a long overdue prune and ended up with crates of avocados ripe for the eating. Thankfully this coincided with the Rugby World Cup — very few games were watched without a large bowl of guacamole present. For everyone who asked for the recipe at the time, finally here it is.

Ingredients

3	Avocados (Main)
2	Green chillies, finely chopped
2 Tbsp	Onions, finely chopped
2	Limes, juice of

Directions

1. Mash the avocado flesh in a bowl, leaving it slightly chunky.
2. Add chillies, onion and lime juice to taste.
3. Season well with salt. I quite often use a good splosh of tabasco sauce in place of fresh chillies as you can control the heat better to make it kid-friendly.
