If you love Japanese inspired food, then this salmon steak with wasabi is the perfect meal for you.
|1 tsp||Wasabi paste|
|4||Salmon steaks (Main)|
|2 Tbsp||Teriyaki sauce|
|2 Tbsp||Sunflower oil|
|1||Red chilli, peeled and sliced|
|2 ½ cm||Fresh ginger, peeled and chopped|
|½||Cabbages, finely sliced|
|2||Spring onions, sliced|

- Rub wasabi paste onto each of the meduim sized salmon steaks and leave for 10 minutes to infuse with flavour. Heat a pan and cook salmon for 4 to 5 minutes until golden on each side. Pour in teriyaki marinade and cook for a few more minutes, turning salmon once to coat.
- Meanwhile, heat sunflower oil in a wok, add the chilli (peeled and sliced), garlic (peeled and sliced) and ginger (peeled and chopped) and cook over a low heat for 2 minutes.
- Increase heat, add cabbage and stir-fry for 4 to 5 minutes until it's wilted.
- Add spring onions to vegetables, stir-fry for 1 minute more, then serve with salmon.
