This delicious cocktail apparently originated in 1915 at the new york Bar in Paris.
Ingredients
| 30 ml | Cognac, or gin |
| 30 ml | Cointreau |
| 30 ml | Lemon juice |
| 1 Tbsp | Sugar |
| 1 | Champagne, or sparkling water, to top the glass (Main) |
Directions
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add all ingredients except the champagne.
- Shake well, and strain into two glasses evenly.
- Top with champagne and garnish with a slice of lemon zest.
