This date smoothie can become a meal or a great afternoon snack when you need a pick-me-up.
Ingredients
1 ½ cups | Dates, fresh or dried, soaked for 10 minutes |
2 small | Bananas (Main) |
2 cups | Soy milk, or milk of your choice (Main) |
1 Tbsp | Peanut butter |
1 ½ cups | Ice, crushed |
2 Tbsp | Fresh mint, chopped, plus extra for garnish |
Directions
- Place all the ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until smooth and fluffy. Pour into your favourite glass.
- Add a sprig of mint and enjoy.
