Quick, healthy, and filling breakfast or lunch
Ingredients
1 | Ciabatta roll, to taste |
1 slice | Tasty cheese, thick slice |
1 leaf | Lettuce, to taste |
1 slice | Tomato, sliced |
1 | Basil leaves, chopped or dried |
1 | English mustard, to taste |
1 | Vegemite, to taste |
Directions
- Ciabatta bun can be fresh or frozen. If fresh, optional to crisp up in oven at 180d, if frozen it will take about 7minutes. I use compu-cook low mix for 7min 30sec for one bun, 8min 30sec for two. When ready, split the bun, butter (optional) and on one half, spread vegemite or marmite to taste. A 5mm thick slice of cheese (tasty is best) or grated to quantity over the vegemite/marmite, and microwave this half for around 30 to 40 seconds.
- On the other half, spread hot English mustard to taste, and place ham on top. Evenly slice the tomato to cover the ham, coarse chop the Basil over, and season with salt and/or pepper to taste. Place lettuce leaf over, and add mayonnaise to taste. Cover with the other half of the bun, and enjoy.
