- Heat oven to 180 degC (160 degC fan bake). Grease a 17 x 27cm slice tin and line with baking paper leaving an overhang on all sides.
- Place coconut, brown sugar, sifted cocoa, flours and baking powder in a bowl. Stir in the raisins and walnuts and make a well in the centre.
- Combine the oil, milk and golden syrup in a small bowl then pour into the well in the dry ingredients. Stir to combine and then spread evenly into prepared tin.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean. Remove to cool in the tin. Slice into bars or squares to serve.
