Ingredients
| 4 cups | Flour |
| 3 Tbsp | Baking powder |
| 1 ½ cups | Milk |
| ½ cup | Natural yoghurt |
| 150 g | Butter |
| 4 Tbsp | Caramelised onions (Main) |
| 2 Tbsp | Roasted red pepper pesto, or basil pesto |
| 200 g | Diced bacon, Gently sauteed, optional |
Directions
- Heat the oven to 200C.
- In a large bowl add flour and baking powder, then grate in the butter. Rub mixture together with your hands until it resembles breadcrumbs.
- Add yoghurt and milk and gently mix until combined.
- Roll out until about 30cm x 30cm, then spread the mixture with pesto, caramelised onion and scatter the bacon over if you're using it. Roll the dough gently then cut the roll into about nine pieces.
- Place on a tray and bake in oven for 12 minutes.
