Excellent recipe with restaurant taste to it.
Ingredients
1 packet | Linguine pasta |
½ kg | Chicken breasts, cut into small peices (Main) |
1 cup | Cream |
2 Tbsp | Vegetable oil |
¼ cup | Button mushrooms, sliced |
2 | Red capsicums, sliced |
1 | Salt, to taste |
1 | Pepper, to taste |
2 tsp | Cajun seasoning |
¼ cup | Basil leaves, optional |
Directions
- In a large pot of add enough water and little bit of salt. Bring the water to boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
- Add oil to pan over medium heat, saute garlic for 2 minutes, add chicken and cook for 5 minutes. Add cajun seasoning and salt, mix well and cook until the chicken is cooked.
- Add capsicum and mushroom and cook for further 2 -3 minutes over low heat.
- Add the cream and heat through. Add the cooked linguine, toss and heat through. You can sprinkle with 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. You can also garnish this dish with a handful of fresh basil leaves. Serve while the dish is hot
