Well - it's affordable and tasty with cub-board ingredients for everyday cooks looking to keep cost low and 'health on the top of the supermarket list.
Ingredients
1 fillet | Blade steak (Main) |
1 Tbsp | Soy sauce, tamarai, BBQ sauce or similar |
1 tsp | Golden syrup, jam, honey, or similar |
2 medium | Potatoes |
1 handful | Salad greens |
1 tsp | Oil |
1 tsp | Vinegar |
1 tsp | Yoghurt, cream, mayonnaise or similar |
1 tsp | Fresh herbs, and spices |
Directions
- Mix first three ingredients together and leave to marinate for at least 24hours in the fridge.
- Next day. Steam Potato then let cool until luke warm. Shake 6,7,8 & 9 together in small container. Arrange Salad greens on plate.
- Heat a heavy based fry pan & cook Steak in with very little oil - on med to low for 5min, then flip and cook to your liking.
- Roughly chop potato and lay on top of salad - pour creamy dressing over potato & salad. Serve with steak on side.
