Easy to make and fun to eat, these beef satay sticks are full of Asian flavours.
|500 g||Beef steaks (Main)|
|1 ⅓ cups||Dark soy sauce|
|1 to taste||Canola oil|
Easy Satay Sauce
|½ cup||Peanut butter|
|2 Tbsp||Dark soy sauce|
|1 Tbsp||Sweet chilli sauce|
- Cut beef steaks into long thin strips and place in a shallow bowl. Sprinkle over the soy sauce and toss to coat. Leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, make the satay sauce. Place all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to the boil, stirring continuously until the peanut butter melts and combines with the other ingredients. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes or until the sauce is thick and creamy.
- Heat a grill on high. Thread the beef strips onto skewers. Lightly spray beef skewers with oil and place on a grill tray. Grill for 2 minutes on each side to brown.
- Serve skewers hot with satay sauce on the side to dip.
