This is one my mother in law has taught me and is always used for summer family BBQ's. Reminds me of summer!
Ingredients
| 220 g | Lamb steaks (Main) |
| ½ tsp | Turmeric powder |
| 1 tsp | Cumin |
| 2 cloves | Garlic |
| ½ cm | Ginger |
| ½ tsp | Garam masala |
| 2 Tbsp | Vegetable oil |
| 1 Tbsp | Coriander, crushed |
| 1 Tbsp | Lemon juice |
Directions
- Marinate the lamb in a mixture of vegetable oil, tumeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala, crushed garlic, ginger and coriander (you can add crushed raw chilli according to your taste, I would recommend no more than a dash of this)
- While the lamb is marinating, start up the BBQ. This should take about 20 minutes.
- Before placing on the BBQ, add in the lemon and add salt to taste. Place the meat on the grill or as image attached, on skewers. Cooking/BBQ time will depend on how well done you like your meat and how hot the BBQ is.
