This to me seems like a grown up ice block equivalent (but much more delicious!). It's refreshing and a perfect pick me up on these long hot sticky afternoons...
Ingredients
1 ½ cups | Almond milk, Straight from the fridge |
1 cup | Espresso coffee, Cooled, or add ice when blending (Main) |
3 Tbsp | Honey |
4 | Medjool dates, Or regular dates soaked on hot water for 10 minutes |
3 Tbsp | Cacao powder |
½ cup | Coconut cream, Can be omitted if prefer a lower fat version |
Directions
- Blend all ingredients together (If not using a high speed blender, chop dates first and blend initially with 1/2 C almond milk before adding rest of ingredients).
- Pour into glasses and and enjoy
