Takes natural healthy ingredients and turns them simply and quickly into a balanced meal that is cheap nutritious and tasty.

1 medium | Agria potato |
170 g | Rump steak, New York cut |
1 slice | Butter |
4 medium | Mushrooms, sliced |
4 florets | Broccoli, sliced |
1 slice | Onion |
1/8 | Green pepper, sliced |
1/8 | Red peppers, sliced |
¼ cup | Sweetcorn, frozen kernels |
⅓ cup | Peas, frozen |
1 | Salt |
1 | Ground black pepper, fresh |
4 leaves | Basil, fresh |
30 ml | Cooking oil |
Directions
- Boil jug of water and peel potato. Cut potato into ~ ½ cm slices Turn grill on, Season steak one side with salt and pepper
- Put sliced potato with salt and boiling water in saucepan When boiling note time and put steak in grill Turn on frypan and prepare vegetables
- After 4.5 minutes add mushrooms to frypan and turn steak a minute later turn mushrooms, add onion half rings then broccoli Stir regularly to prevent burning After another minute or so add peas and corns then a minute or two later add peppers
- After 9 minutes boiling check if potato and steak is cooked. Teem and mash potato with butter Plate, garnish with basil leaves and serve
- New York cut rump takes 4.5 minutes grill per side for medium rare: adjust timings for different tastes. With practice this meal takes 15 minutes from start to serve for 1 person. Vegetable preparation adds a couple of minutes per person.
