Sometimes you have to forget about prices, and this is one of those times. This brooding, inky cabernet has a surprisingly elegant, graceful heart for one so young and it is drinking superbly now, although it will easily last another 15 years or more. Dense plum and blackcurrant flavours are lifted by delicate violet and mint notes. It goes on forever. Five-star wine without a shadow of a doubt.
