Bite contributor Laurie Black has done all sorts of things in her career, from being a chef to co-running a small catering company, then moving into food writing and styling, becoming a food editor and running a national restaurant of the year competition.
These days she lives in Australia, is rediscovering the pleasures of home cooking and is obsessed by organic gardening. She played an integral part in the development of the New Zealand Herald’s Bite food magazine, and her delicious pork tacos set an early standard for quick midweek meals.
