Details around the partnership were commercially sensitive, but Wenlock said it would effectively be business as usual for Wipster customers.
The video review software allowed users to review, approve and comment on video content through the shared platform, with the partnership allowing video content to be imported from Vimeo to Wipster to review and edit before being published back to the user's Vimeo account.
Wenlock said the collaboration provided mutual benefit for both companies and validation for Wipster.
"What is significant for us is that by the biggest video platform in the world for video creatives, Vimeo, choosing to partner with us, they are basically putting us at the top of the pile because we will be accessible to everybody who makes videos," Wenlock said.
Founded in 2004 by a group of film-makers, New York-based Vimeo is one of the largest video-sharing platforms globally, with an audience of 170 million people a month.
