US company buys Pickfords Records Management

US records management company Iron Mountain Inc is to buy the New Zealand and Australian operations of Pickfords Records Management (PRM) for A$115 million ($125.7 million).

PRM is a subsidiary of Sirva. The conditional deal is expected to settle by the end of the year.

PRM is based in Melbourne, and has facilities in all Australia's capital cities as well as Auckland, Wellington, Hamilton and Christchurch.

The company's services include records storage and management, secure shredding, imaging and business process outsourcing.
