Telecom headquarters building sold

The Telecom complex on Auckland's Victoria St has been sold by its current owner, New Zealand property development company Mansons TCLM.

"I can confirm that it is under contract for sale, but I can't give you any detail around that,'' Culum Manson, a director of Mansons, told APNZ.

Mansons' website lists the property as being worth $280m.

Telecom is the "anchor'' tenant, according to the website.

It says the Telecom site is the single biggest city office building platform in New Zealand.

The four office buildings make up more than 30,000m of floor space in total.

The site is bound by Victoria Street West, Dock Street and Harding Street.

Mansons TCLM is a family business run by Ted Manson and his sons Culum, Luke and Mac.

Ted Manson started the family business with his father Colin in the mid 1970s.
