Taylors cleans up

Listed dry cleaner Taylors Group has reported an 11.3 per cent rise in first-half profit, helped by the sale of an Invercargill plant.

The after-tax profit of $1.93 million in the six months to December 31 was up from $1.73 million in the same period last year.

It was achieved on a $1.2 million fall in revenue to $32.93 million. An interim dividend of 6c a share was declared, payable on March 23.
