Demand for industry-specific and packaged solutions fuelled a 10 per cent rise in revenue for business intelligence software provider SAS New Zealand.
Revenues from new software licences increased 37 per cent in New Zealand last year, and total revenue jumped to $11.5 million.
However, profit before tax was
virtually flat at $1.07 million, SAS NZ's country manager, Anthony Bishop, said.
Total worldwide revenue for SAS in 2006 was US$1.9 billion ($2.74 billion), up from US$1.7 billion in 2005.
The parent company expects to crack the US$2 billion mark in 2007.
