Tamihere at SME conference in Turkey

Small Business Minister John Tamihere, who is in Turkey attending a Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development conference on small and medium enterprises, said the conference would give him a valuable opportunity to share ideas.

The conference, Promoting Entrepreneurship and Innovative SMEs in a Global Economy, has brought together about 800 participants from OECD and non-OECD countries.

After the gathering ends tomorrow, Mr Tamihere will visit Britain's Small Business Service and discuss SME policy and its business compliance cost-reduction programme.
